Diana Iacob

Diana is currently working on developing Artificial Intelligence models for forensic analysis at the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office in Munich, Germany.

She has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Bioinformatics from the Technical University of Munich; for her Master’s thesis, she developed a next generation sequencing and machine learning approach for the origin prediction of forensically relevant body fluids, which was presented at the congress of the International Society for Forensic Genetics in September 2019.Diana is also working as an IT Consultant for data science and artificial intelligence. She has also lived and studied abroad in Australia and Canada.
