Daiana Brezoiu combines genetics and forensics in her work, reporting DNA results of evidence found at crime scenes. Her activities include determining the sex and age of persons at the crime scene through skeletal, anatomical, osteological and forensic chemistry studies.
Daiana graduated from the ”Bănățean” National High School with a degree in natural sciences, where she participated in various scientific communication sessions and volunteering activities, and her passion for genetics led her to go to the UK to study at the University of Essex. Her next step was a master’s degree in Forensic Anthropology at the University of Huddersfield, going on to become a Forensic DNA Analyst at Eurofins Forensic Services (EFS).
