I am a PhD researcher at ETH, Zurich working on structural determination and function characterisation of human membrane proteins. I specialise in protein engineering, expression and purification for structural studies using cryo-electron microscopy.

I finished my Masters at the University of Manchester where I studied the conformational dynamics of CFTR (cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator) and the catalytic subunit of PKA (protein kinase A). The experimental methods used consisted of protein expression, purification, NMR and electron microscopy.

During my bachelor studies, I have worked for one year as a research assistant at The University of Reno, Nevada where I performed RT-PCR for different research groups.
