Adina Lupu

Adina Elena Lupu, is a second-year PhD candidate at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Bergen.

She has a background in molecular biology and three years of private-sector experience at a biotechnology company specializing in bioprinting.

His current work focuses on genetic and functional analyses of childhood obesity. The goal is to expand the understanding of the childhood-specific genetic factors that potentially influence Body Mass Index (BMI) variation and development, focusing on variants with a tendency to increase BMI.
